Sanjeev Dutta, senior teacher
Sanjeev comes from a lineage of teachers, yogis, and Maharishis. A descendant of Bhardwaj Maharishi. He is an Engineer and corporate Manager who took to yoga and loved the practice. After learning Yoga from many world-famous teachers, he has been sharing this knowledge of yoga with his students for the last 20 years. Having learned different forms of yoga from great masters, he has developed his style of yoga which includes the best of Iyengar, Ashtanga, kundalini, and Hatha Yoga styles. His focus in teaching is to encourage and empower students to discover themselves through Yoga. He teaches Yoga Philosophy, Anatomy, and the practice. This creates a flow of awareness in the teaching. He is often called for talk shows in institutions and on TV.
He believes that a student must spend time with the teacher to understand the concepts and practicality of this ancient practice properly. He also believes that a yoga teacher must have an overall knowledge of the subject. A yoga teacher must be a complete teacher. This is what he aims to help his students achieve. He opened the Om Yoga Shala branch at Agonda in Goa in 2019 to train Yoga teachers with the Yoga Alliance Certification.
